Krispie Fudge
Krispie Fudge is the best of both fudge and marshmallow treats!
I made this white chocolate version here and a milk chocolate version using chocolate chips and Cocoa Krispies cereal - a huge hit at the office and home!
Ingredients:
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
3/4 cup butter
2 cups granulated sugar
11 ounces white chocolate chips
7 ounces marshmallow cream
2 1/2 cups rice krispies cereal
3 cups miniature marshmallows
3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
Directions:
In a large saucepan, add heavy cream, butter, and sugar.
Heat over medium high and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Once boiling, continue to stir and boil for a full 4 minutes (a good rolling boil). Remove from heat.
In a large mixing bowl, add white chocolate morsels and marshmallow cream.
Pour hot sugar mixture over ingredients in bowl. Using an electric mixer, beat until white chocolate is melted and creamy (about 1 minute).
Fold in mini marshmallows and cereal.
Pour into an 13 x9-inch baking dish that is lined with parchment paper.
Sprinkle immediately with mini chocolate chips.
Refrigerate for 3 hours, or overnight.
Cut into 64 bite-sized pieces.
