Spaghetti Boats


Leftover spaghetti? I have the perfect meal for you… spaghetti boats! A delicious way to make everyone forget they are eating leftovers!

Ingredients:

Leftover spaghetti (approximately 4 - 5 cups)

1 loaf of french bread or crusty bread (cut in half)

4 – 6 Tablespoons butter (softened)

2 – 3 teaspoons garlic powder

1 to 2 cups mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425ºF.

Line a baking sheet with foil for easy clean up.

Warm leftover spaghetti or cook fresh (sauce and noodles mixed together).

Place the bread halves onto baking sheet.

Hollow out center of loaves leaving 1/2” – 1” along sides and bottom.

In a small bowl, mix butter with garlic powder.

Spread each piece of bread with 1/2 of the garlic butter mixture.

Bake in oven for 5 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from oven.

Fill each half with spaghetti.

Sprinkle on 1/2 cup - 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.

Bake for additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is nice and bubbly.

Allow to cool, slice and enjoy!
