Shrimp and Garlic Parmesan Steak


The ultimate surf and turf - steak with shrimp and a garlic parmesan sauce. Try this sauce with grilled chicken, too. Absolutely delicious!

Ingredients:

2 (10 ounce) sirloin steaks

2 Tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups heavy cream

1 teaspoon basil

1 teaspoon parsley flakes

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

20 precooked small shrimp, tails and shells removed

1 small tomato, finely diced

Directions:

Grill steaks to medium rare / medium.

While steaks are cooking, prepare sauce.

Melt butter in pan. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Add cream and lightly boil until it's half its original volume, being careful not to scorch.

Stir in parmesan cheese, basil, parsley, salt and pepper. Add precooked shrimp and simmer until shrimp heated through. Stir in tomatoes right before serving.

Top steaks with shrimp and cheese sauce.
