Zesty Ranch Ham & Cheese Hot Pinwheels
One word...HEAVENLY!
Not sure I want to eat ham and cheese any other way now.
Ingredients:
1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
1/2 lb. deli sliced ham
6 slices pepper jack cheese (can use any cheese, but that’s the “zesty” we prefer)
4 oz. cream cheese
1 green onion, thinly sliced
1 pkg. ranch dressing mix
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, green onion, and ranch dressing mix. Set aside.
On a lightly floured surface, unroll dough and separate the sheet into rectangles. Pinch the perforations to seal. Roll with lightly floured rolling pin to smooth out dough.
Spread layer of cream cheese mixture onto each rectangle.
Top each rectangle with sliced ham and cheese.
Starting with one short side, roll up each rectangle.
Pinch edges to seal.
Cut each roll into 4 slices. Place cut side up in 13” x 9" baking pan greased with cooking spray.
Note: I did not have sliced pepper jack cheese so I used shredded in picture to left...still turned out great. Sliced just makes easier to roll and makes rolls tighter so keeps rounder shape than in picture.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the rolls are golden.
