Herb Butter Petite Sirloin Steak


This steak can be served with many different sides.

Herb butter petite sirloin

This recipe is per steak, so increase as needed for number of guests.

This recipe is basically the same as for the Herb Butter Ribeye Steaks, but modified slightly for cooking times...and no rosemary.

Ingredients:

1 petite sirloin steak

2 Tablespoons butter, softened

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1/2 teaspoon thyme (I prefer ground thyme, but either will work)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Mix butter and seasonings in a bowl.

Spread butter mixture over both sides steak.

Place on baking sheet.

Cook in oven for 6 minutes (med rare) - 9 minutes (medium).

Transfer steaks to grill or skillet (grill is best).

Cook for 1 - 2 min. on each side. (depending on size of steak)

Serve immediately.
