Gourmet Mac and Cheese
Cheddar or Zesty...either way, Mmmmm...good!
My sister shared her “secret” recipe of her mac and cheese everyone raves about and requests. I made a couple of modifications to come up with a zesty version we all LOVE, so I have both listed here.
Ingredients:
1 (16 oz.) box elbow macaroni
1 (15 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz cheese dip
1 (10.75 oz) can of condensed cream of celery soup
2 cups shredded cheese (mild cheddar or colby jack)
For Zesty Gourmet Mac and Cheese, substitute the following:
Instead of Cheez Whiz, use Tostitos Salsa Con Queso
Instead of shredded cheddar cheese, use shredded pepper jack cheese
Instructions:
Cook pasta per package instructions and drain.
In large bowl, mix pasta, cheese dip, soup, and 1 cup of shredded cheese.
Left:
Cheddar
Right:
Zesty
Put pasta mixture into 13” x 9” casserole dish.
Sprinkle remaining 1 cup of shredded cheese over pasta.

Bake at 350° until cheese is melted – approx. 8 – 10 minutes.
