Cinnamon Roll Bake

Note: This recipe is for a small group using 6” x 9” pan. If preparing for a larger group, double recipe and use 13” x 9” pan.

Ingredients:

Butter or cooking spray, for baking dish

1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (such as Pillsbury)

2 eggs

1/3 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon granulated sugar

Confectioners’ sugar, for serving (optional)

Maple syrup, for serving (optional)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325°F

Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters and place in a large bowl.

In small bowl or large measuring cup, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and granulated sugar.

Pour egg mixture over cut cinnamon rolls. Stir to coat thoroughly.

Pour into greased 6” x 9” glass baking dish.

Bake until egg is cooked through and cinnamon rolls are deeply golden, approx. 20 minutes.

Drizzle with cinnamon roll icing. (Don't worry, it will absorb the icing)

Before serving, sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar or drizzle with maple syrup, if desired.
